The papers in this collection are divided into three groups, the Anna Ella Carroll papers, the Cradock family papers, and the Jensen family papers, dating 1738-1968. This collection contains scrapbooks and correspondence related to Governor Edwin Warfield’s career. The scrapbooks hold newspaper clippings, correspondence, and more about major issues Warfield faced as governor, especially on environmental issues such as oyster preservation and game and hunting laws. A large portion of correspondence is related to the proposed Poe Amendment.

This collection contains seventy-six scrapbooks containing newspaper clippings and magazine articles collected by Maryland governor Albert C. Ritchie pertaining mainly to his public life from 1915-1936. This includes pocket notebooks, diaries, notes for speeches, and printed reports.
